Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Identify signs of facial aging that occur in the bony structures, muscles and fat compartments of the face as it ages
- Describe the science of the various FDA-approved neuromodulators and soft tissue fillers
- Incorporate various tools for use during the aesthetic consultation session with a goal of bettering the physician-patient communication process
- Assess patient safety and satisfaction by developing appropriate injection techniques when using dermal fillers and neurotoxins
Target Audience
This activity is primarily intended and designed to educate residents and fellows from the core aesthetic specialties (Dermatology, Facial Plastic Surgery, Oculoplastic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, and Plastic Surgery) from medical schools in the Chicago area, as well as any core aesthetic physicians in the local community who have been in practice 3 years or less.
